Flower About LAND
"I really enjoyed working with the kids in LAND. Besides being great fun, it was inspirational to observe how focused the children were on learning about plants and planting, and so serious about doing good work.  Their energy level was truly inspirational!"

LAND in the Community

LAND Crew kids help to beautify local parks and businesses by planting flowers, bulbs, and native grasses, participating in the Alice Ferguson Foundation’s annual Potomac River Watershed Clean Up project, and contributing to PTAs and local environmental charities through fund raising activities.

Through an on-going relationship with the Maryland--National Capital Park and Planning Commission, LAND Crew kids have planted thousands of daffodil bulbs and native grasses at the Woodstock Equestrian Park in Beallsville, Maryland and the South Germantown Park in Germantown, Maryland.

Look for LAND Crew kids this Fall planting pansies and decorating with cornstalks at area business locations.
