After School Clubs

LAND Landscape and Nature after school clubs involve kids in enhancing and maintaining existing gardens, designing and planting, and nature walks around local school properties.

Kids learn about and discuss the weather, insects, plants, wildlife, and the importance of Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve.

Our five-week sessions are operating per the locations/dates listed below:

  • Monocacy Elementary:  Mondays, September 17 to October 22, 2007, grades 2-5
  • Poolesville Elementary:  Tuesdays, September 18 to October 23, 2007, grades 2-5
  • Barnesville School:  Wednesdays, September 19 to October 24, 2007, grades 2-6
  • John Poole Middle School:  Thursdays, September 27 to October 25, 2007, grades 6-8

Two-week mini sessions in all schools are anticipated to begin in the October/November timeframe for grades K-1.
